A full-time, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the upcoming school year in Troy, NY. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate student needs.
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans targeting individual goals.
- Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at improving articulation, language comprehension, and overall communication skills.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain detailed documentation including therapy notes, progress reports, and treatment updates.
- Engage in ongoing professional development through meetings and workshops to stay current with best practices.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active Speech-Language Pathology certification with pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred.
- Familiarity with diverse therapeutic approaches such as AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
