Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license valid in Florida
- Clinical Fellow (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates encouraged
- School-based, pediatric, or teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required
- Knowledge of various treatment approaches, such as AAC and PROMPT
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needs
- Create and execute treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on articulation, communication, and language comprehension
- Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care
- Document sessions, update progress reports, and maintain thorough records
- Participate in school meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices
