Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license valid in Florida
  • Clinical Fellow (CFY) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) candidates encouraged
  • School-based, pediatric, or teletherapy experience is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of various treatment approaches, such as AAC and PROMPT
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify individual student needs
  • Create and execute treatment plans tailored to student goals
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions focused on articulation, communication, and language comprehension
  • Collaborate regularly with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary professionals to ensure coordinated care
  • Document sessions, update progress reports, and maintain thorough records
  • Participate in school meetings and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices
