Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Experience delivering pediatric and school-based speech therapy
  • Proficiency managing a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Skilled at conducting teletherapy sessions as needed
  • Previous involvement supporting students with disabilities in educational settings is highly valued
  • Excellent interpersonal and documentation skills to liaise with staff and families

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat middle school students presenting with a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Provide direct and/or virtual therapy services, adapting techniques to meet individual student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain clear and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Foster supportive relationships with teachers, families, and students
  • Offer consultative guidance for classroom staff and participate in IEP meetings
