Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners in a dynamic school-based setting near Troy, NY. This position focuses on early childhood intervention, working with ages 3-5 for a full-time maternity leave during the first semester. You’ll collaborate with caring professionals and make a meaningful impact through 40-42 sessions per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy sessions for preschool students according to IEP goals
  • Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support students’ communication needs
  • Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as a vital member of the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Valid NY state licensure or eligibility for SLP licensure
  • Previous experience in school settings or early childhood preferred
  • Ability to work student hours of 8:30 AM–2:00 PM on the traditional 10-month school calendar
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
  • Clinical Fellows (CFY) are welcome to apply—virtual supervision is available
  • Please note: SLPAs are not supported for this assignment
