Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Troy, NY

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity impacting the lives of elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Troy, NY. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with SLP-CCC credentials who are passionate about supporting communication and language development in kindergarten through 5th-grade students.

This position runs according to the academic calendar, with contract dates available from September through June or September through November. You'll work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, from 7:45am to 2:45pm each day, providing much-needed speech and language interventions while still maintaining a desirable work-life balance.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active SLP-CCC certification required
• Strong track record providing speech-language services in school settings
• Experience working with elementary-aged children (K–5)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to adapt interventions to individual student needs and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Familiarity with IEP development and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and small group speech-language sessions (up to 9 daily) tailored to K–5 students
• Conduct assessments, write reports, and help develop IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to promote student progress
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for student services
• Participate in planning periods and support staff meetings as scheduled
• Adapt service delivery to changing caseloads and school needs
