Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students for the 2026–2027 academic year. Based near Trumansburg, NY, you’ll manage a manageable caseload of approximately 35 students, focusing on advancing communication skills and academic success through assessment, individualized therapy, and ongoing collaboration.

Start Date: September 2026
End Date: June 2027

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored speech and language therapy plans
  • Deliver direct therapy services designed to meet each student's unique needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, educational staff, and administrators to design and implement effective accommodations
  • Track student progress, modifying interventions as needed for optimal outcomes
  • Engage meaningfully in IEP meetings, actively contributing to student goal setting
  • Serve as a resource to parents and caregivers, offering strategies and support for skill development at home

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children strongly preferred
  • Strong communicative and collaborative abilities
  • Knowledge of IEP process & educational regulations
