A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a full-time contract assignment in a supportive school setting near Trumbull, CT. This assignment is scheduled for the 2026–2027 school year, with a tentative start date of August 24, 2026, and expected completion by May 21, 2027 (dates are subject to change). You’ll be working onsite, serving students across a range of potential caseloads and grade levels, making adaptability and prior school-based experience vital for success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current and valid state Speech-Language Pathology license, along with Educator Certification.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required.
- Strong background in school-based speech-language pathology, with previous experience serving student caseloads.
- Flexibility and willingness to work with various caseloads and grade levels as assigned.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educational teams, support staff, and families.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy to students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student goals.
- Comply with all school district and state reporting requirements.
- Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds and needs.
Assignment Details:
- Full-time, onsite position (30–32.5 hours per week).
- Caseload and grade levels to be determined—requires flexibility.
