Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

• Comprehensive understanding of laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to the education of children with disabilities and regulated programs
• Proficient knowledge of pediatric and adolescent development, both cognitive and physical
• Skilled in interpreting and utilizing medical and psychological diagnostic instruments relevant to assessing student needs
• Familiarity with terminology related to physical and learning disabilities
• Ability to compile and analyze important data, and interpret policies and regulations affecting your work
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent oral and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification
• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• ASHA Certification and ABSESPA licensure

Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site (no teletherapy/voco) support and services to school-aged children, addressing a range of speech, language, and communication needs
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and monitor student progress
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to IEP meetings
