Ideal Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Valid state SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of IEP development and documentation
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students, addressing a variety of communication needs
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify speech/language disorders and determine students’ needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
  • Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote student progress and integrate therapy within the school setting
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Participate in school team meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment
