Ideal Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Valid state SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric SLP setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle and high school students, addressing a variety of communication needs
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings to identify speech/language disorders and determine students’ needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to promote student progress and integrate therapy within the school setting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, progress notes, and participate in IEP meetings
- Participate in school team meetings and contribute to a supportive, inclusive environment
