Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted
- Experience in school settings, particularly serving diverse student populations
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities
- Strong assessment, documentation, and treatment planning skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide evidence-based therapy to students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each student’s unique challenges
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate records in compliance with district and state standards
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and contributing to team decisions
- Offer support and resources to teachers and families to maximize communication growth in and out of the classroom
This contract role begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, with a commitment of 20 hours per week.
