Job Title: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

A great school district in Tucson, AZ is now looking to hire a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the upcoming school year. This is a full time position following the school calendar. Previous experience working with children is desired, but not required for this school-based job.

Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
• Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in group settings
• Assist with documenting student progress and maintaining therapy records
• Participate in team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program
• Active SLPA license/certification in Arizona
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
