In this role, you’ll serve approximately 55-60 students, offering comprehensive therapy and evaluations. The position begins as soon as possible, with a commitment running through June 3rd, providing a chance to immerse yourself in the school community over the course of the school year. The schedule is structured for 37 hours per week, giving you the balance of dedicated work hours alongside time for planning and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Active state licensure as required for school-based practice
• Experience or strong interest in a school setting, managing diverse caseloads
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative speech-language services to students as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with teaching staff and attend IEP meetings as necessary
• Educate and counsel families and school personnel on strategies for communication development
