What You’ll Bring:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid California SLP license or eligibility
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting desirable
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and families
  • Proficient in conducting assessments, developing IEP goals, and delivering both group and individual therapy
  • Ability to adapt to diverse student needs and caseload sizes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Evaluate students for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders utilizing appropriate assessment tools
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, assessments, and progress reports
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and professional development activities
  • Adhere to compliance standards for documentation and confidentiality
