Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working full-time with elementary students for the entire school year. This role focuses on supporting students' communication and language development through dedicated speech services within a welcoming school environment near Tullahoma, TN.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an SLP or SLPA (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language therapy
- Comfortable with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
- Open to SLP clinical fellows (CFY) seeking mentorship and hands-on experience
- Competence in working with elementary-aged children, adapting interventions to meet varied developmental needs
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for teaming with educators, families, and other clinicians
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to an elementary caseload, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
- Track progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
- Consult with teachers and staff to support communication strategies throughout the school day
- Engage with families to share progress and involve them in students’ therapy plans
