Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting students’ communication growth in a vibrant elementary setting near Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this full-time position, you’ll work with Pre-K through 5th graders, providing speech-language services and shaping positive outcomes for a caseload of approximately 50 young learners. Your expertise will have a tremendous impact as you design and implement individualized speech and language therapy, assess student progress, and foster skill development that lays a foundation for classroom success. This role runs from August 14, 2025, to May 22, 2026, offering consistency and the chance to see your students advance over the full academic year.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP license for Oklahoma or eligibility to obtain
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows with strong pediatric interest encouraged to apply
- Background working with elementary-aged children or in a school-based setting
- Familiarity with therapy best practices for language, articulation, fluency, and social communication needs
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Collaborative mindset for working with staff, families, and support personnel
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in individual and small group settings
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and monitor IEP goals
- Consult with teachers and collaborate with the part-time SLPA to ensure comprehensive support
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain clear, timely student records and progress reporting
