Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid SLP license and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially PreK-6th grade, strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Passion for helping children reach their fullest potential

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
  • Develop and deliver customized intervention plans, adapting as student needs evolve
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals
  • Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and required reports in compliance with regulations
  • Offer guidance and support for classroom teachers on implementing speech and language strategies
  • Contribute actively to a welcoming and collaborative school community
