Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure as required for school-based practice
  • Previous experience providing speech and language therapy in a K-12 setting preferred
  • Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation skills
  • Effective communicator with students, families, and school multidisciplinary teams
  • Passion for supporting student success and engagement in a diverse educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct in-person therapy to students according to IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support classroom integration and accommodations
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in communication needs and therapy interventions
  • Engage with parents and caregivers to encourage carryover of strategies and skill development
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field of speech-language pathology
