In this role, you will work closely with students to assess communication needs, develop targeted therapy plans, and help them find their voice. You will also collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote each student’s language development and communication success.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP license issued by the state of California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Dedication to helping children achieve communication milestones

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Maintain organized and accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and interventions
  • Communicate regularly with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Attend IEP meetings and participate in ongoing student support planning
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the field
