Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students in the San Juan Capistrano area as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. The assignment covers two leaves of absence with confirmed starts in mid-October and mid-November, with the exact end dates to be determined. On-site presence is required.

Working as an SLP in this setting, you will engage with a diverse caseload spanning various age groups. Your expertise will be vital in helping students develop essential communication abilities, collaborating with educators, and contributing to a supportive school atmosphere.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active California SLP license required
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Capacity to work full-time, five days per week, on-site
  • Dedicated, compassionate, and adaptable mindset

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Address a varied caseload across more than one campus, specific school assignments to be confirmed
