Working as an SLP in this setting, you will engage with a diverse caseload spanning various age groups. Your expertise will be vital in helping students develop essential communication abilities, collaborating with educators, and contributing to a supportive school atmosphere.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active California SLP license required
- Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Capacity to work full-time, five days per week, on-site
- Dedicated, compassionate, and adaptable mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Address a varied caseload across more than one campus, specific school assignments to be confirmed
