A rewarding opportunity awaits dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists who are passionate about supporting student growth and success. This contract position offers a full-time schedule, working across multiple school sites within a vibrant community. Assignments include a preschool, an elementary school, and a middle school, all within the San Juan Capistrano area. You’ll provide essential speech therapy services, primarily covering a Leave of Absence, with the potential for the contract to extend through the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Active California SLP license in good standing
  • Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfort with a caseload averaging approximately 55 students, ranging from preschool to middle school
  • Commitment to providing on-site services (this is not a remote/VOCO-only role)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ages preschool to middle school
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress reports
  • Participate actively in IEP and team meetings as needed
  • Foster positive working relationships with staff and families across school sites
