Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active SLP license in Michigan
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school-based settings and with elementary-aged students preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and participation in multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
• Evaluate, assess, and document language, speech, and communication abilities
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to promote student success
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations for special education services
• Provide consultative services for non-public schools supported by the district
• Monitor and report student progress, adapting interventions as needed
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to the overall educational planning process
