School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Twin Lake, Michigan

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving preschool-aged children, ages 3-4, as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Twin Lake, MI. This position begins as soon as possible and runs through June, with scheduling flexibility to fit your needs. You’ll work a consistent school calendar, Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day, providing essential speech therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40-50 students.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Valid state SLP licensure (or ability to obtain)
• Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with students, families, and school staff
• Familiarity with IEPs, goal writing, and school-based therapy documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct SLP services and interventions to preschoolers (ages 3-4) in accordance with IEP goals
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify needs and measure progress
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique strengths and areas for growth of each student
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student success
• Monitor, record, and report on student progress, maintaining thorough, accurate documentation
