Desired Background:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLPs) or an approved associate/bachelor’s degree with state licensure (for SLPAs)
- Valid state licensure/certification or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical knowledge—SLP-CCC, CFY, or SLPA experience in school or healthcare preferred
- Teletherapy experience welcomed, but not required
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Dedication to supporting diverse learners in both elementary and middle school environments
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver therapeutic services individually and in groups—on-site or via teletherapy as needed
- Consult with teachers, families, and other professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and compliance requirements
- Support program development to foster inclusive and communicative classroom environments
