Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (as applicable)
  • Valid SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA licensure for Texas
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods a plus
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with IEP teams, teachers, and families

Role Expectations:

  • Provide high-quality speech, language, and communication interventions
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and reporting
  • Support student progress through direct therapy, consultation, and collaborative planning
  • Participate actively in meetings, staff development, and parent conferences
  • Adapt services for both in-person and teletherapy delivery models
