Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (as applicable)
- Valid SLP, SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLPA licensure for Texas
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Familiarity with teletherapy delivery methods a plus
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with IEP teams, teachers, and families
Role Expectations:
- Provide high-quality speech, language, and communication interventions
- Evaluate, diagnose, and create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely progress notes and reporting
- Support student progress through direct therapy, consultation, and collaborative planning
- Participate actively in meetings, staff development, and parent conferences
- Adapt services for both in-person and teletherapy delivery models
