Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows will also be considered
- Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments of students’ speech, language, voice, and fluency
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students according to IEP goals
- Support teachers and families with effective strategies to enhance communication in the classroom and at home
- Maintain thorough documentation on student progress, therapy sessions, and compliance requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and faculty collaboration sessions
- Stay up to date with professional development and best practices in school-based speech therapy
