Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, strong CFY candidates considered
- School-based experience or familiarity with educational IEP procedures is highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
- Adaptable approach to handling caseloads of diverse students
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions
- Partner with teachers, specialists, and support staff to integrate strategies and maximize student progress
- Provide therapy in both individual and group formats as appropriate
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with school and state guidelines
- Offer guidance and resources to families regarding students’ speech and language needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives
