Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, strong CFY candidates considered
  • School-based experience or familiarity with educational IEP procedures is highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Adaptable approach to handling caseloads of diverse students

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and interventions
  • Partner with teachers, specialists, and support staff to integrate strategies and maximize student progress
  • Provide therapy in both individual and group formats as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress tracking, and compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Offer guidance and resources to families regarding students’ speech and language needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and school-wide initiatives
