Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Valid state SLP license (or ability to obtain before start).
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload and adapt services according to student needs.
  • Willingness and ability to travel between school locations within the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and provide individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Offer consultative support and training to school staff as needed.
