Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Valid state SLP license (or ability to obtain before start).
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
- Ability to manage a full K-12 caseload and adapt services according to student needs.
- Willingness and ability to travel between school locations within the district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide individualized therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise as part of a multidisciplinary team.
