This contract position spans 13 weeks, from August 10, 2026, through November 2, 2026, offering a consistent 37.5-hour workweek within a supportive school environment near Universal City, TX.
Ideal candidates will hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be a Clinical Fellow (CFY) who is passionate about school-based speech therapy. Your expertise will directly impact students’ academic and social progress, helping them find their voices and succeed in the classroom.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- CCC preferred, but motivated Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Prior experience providing therapy in school settings is highly regarded
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong commitment to collaboration with teachers, staff, and families
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized and group speech/language therapy sessions
- Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
- Assess and document student progress, maintaining accurate records
- Consult with educators and caregivers on communication strategies
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise
- Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for diverse student populations
