You’ll work full-time, spending approximately 32 hours a week in person, collaborating closely with educators, families, and support staff. Focusing on pediatric populations, your knowledge will foster communication skills that empower students to succeed inside and outside the classroom.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting (pediatrics preferred)
- Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
- Ability to serve diverse student needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and social communication disorders
- Collaborative, flexible approach to teaming with teachers, parents, and administrators
- Excellent organization, communication, and documentation skills
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students across two school campuses
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Participate in IEP meetings; provide progress updates and recommendations
- Maintain timely and accurate records of sessions, evaluations, and student progress
- Consult with teachers and family members to help carry strategies into daily routines
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
