Job Type Contract

Empower students across a dynamic K-12 setting near University Park, PA by providing speech-language services across three educational buildings—elementary, middle, and high school. We're seeking a committed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support a diverse student population, working with both individual and group sessions as part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team.

This contract opportunity involves direct service provision, with a thoughtfully split caseload: 55 thirty-minute sessions, including 16 individual and 37 group treatments each week. You’ll be vital in delivering assessment, intervention, and therapy to students who require speech-language support to succeed in their academic environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
  • Active SLP (CCC) credential
  • Background in school-based or pediatric settings, especially K-12
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and varied caseload
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
  • Comfortable working in-person; virtual applicants considered with onsite SLPA support

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing individualized therapy plans
  • Delivering speech-language services both individually and in groups
  • Documenting student progress and participating in IEP meetings
  • Collaborating with educators, staff, and families to foster positive student outcomes
  • Managing your schedule across three buildings for seamless service delivery

The position offers a 35-hour work week in a supportive, education-forward environment. Whether working on site or virtually (when partnered with an onsite SLPA), you’ll help shape students’ communication skills and boost their academic achievement.

If you’re enthusiastic about impacting students across elementary, middle, and high school settings, and have your PA Teaching and SLP certificates ready, we want to hear from you. Step into a role where your expertise is valued—apply today and contribute to a thriving school community!
