Qualifications:

  • Hold a current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license for Ohio
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous school-based experience or a strong desire to work in educational environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students with varying needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress towards IEP goals
  • Complete thorough evaluations, re-evaluations, and documentation in accordance with state and district requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights and recommendations
  • Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with special education laws
