Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • State licensure or eligibility to earn licensure as an SLP in Ohio
  • Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to diverse student needs across grade levels

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech/language evaluations for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans based on evaluations and IEP requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students' communication needs
  • Deliver both direct and consultative speech/language therapy services
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress
  • Maintain timely records of services provided and progress monitoring for students
  • Attend IEP meetings, provide insights, and help shape strategies for student success
