School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Urbana, Ohio

Make a real difference in the school community by providing essential speech and language services to students. Two excellent contract opportunities are available for dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting student development and communication skills.

Available Roles:

• Position 1: Full-time assignment from August 19th through May 29th, 2027. Work with approximately 50 elementary and middle school students, delivering impactful interventions and collaboration with educators and families.
• Position 2: Part-time opening (3.5 days per week), covering a caseload of around 32 autistic students (K-12) for the same term. Serve across two nearby campuses, supporting students' diverse needs with individualized strategies and care.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Comfort with IEPs and progress documentation
• Enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations, including those with autism

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services for students with speech and language needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Partner with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote student growth
• Monitor and report on student progress using data-driven approaches
• Maintain compliant records and actively participate in team meetings
