School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Urbana, Ohio

You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team, utilizing your skills to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in progress
• Experience in educational settings or with school-aged children strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP objectives
• Provide direct therapy services, both individual and small group
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, sharing professional recommendations with the educational team
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support student success
• Stay current with best practices and professional development in the field
