Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible California Speech-Language Pathology license
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CF credentials considered
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong evaluation, intervention, and documentation skills
- Collaborative mindset and effective communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy services to K-12 students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, progress, and services
- Participate in IEP meetings and communicate student needs and progress to parents, teachers, and administrators
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive student support
- Provide support, strategies, and resources to staff and families to maximize student growth and independence
This position offers the flexibility of a contract role paired with the stability of a full-time schedule throughout the academic year.
