You’ll be a vital member of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, working closely with educators and families to help students achieve their communication goals. As you deliver personalized therapy and comprehensive assessments, your expertise will foster success in and out of the classroom.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility (CFs encouraged to apply)
- Experience with K-12 student populations preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy to students with diverse communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
- Stay current with best practices and continuing education
