This contract position is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence, who thrives on collaborating with educators and families in a dynamic school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP-CCC credential required
- California state licensure as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain
- Previous experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are also welcome
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with staff, students, and families
- Organizational ability for managing caseload, documentation, and IEP participation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech and language needs
- Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Deliver direct and consultative services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student achievement
- Document progress and maintain compliance with all federal and state guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide expertise on language development
