What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Active SLP license in California
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs
  • Organizational skills for managing caseloads and required documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop tailored treatment plans and therapy sessions for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support academic success
  • Maintain accurate records and document student progress in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student communication goals
  • Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding communication disorders and strategies
