We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve learners in a school-based setting near Vallejo, CA. Work closely with a collaborative team to help students develop essential skills for academic and personal success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure as an SLP and current CCC credential
- Experience providing school-based speech/language services to children and adolescents
- Strong understanding of IEP (Individualized Education Program) documentation and special education processes
- Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and allied professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students, utilizing a variety of assessment tools
- Develop individualized treatment plans and deliver direct therapy services in accordance with student IEPs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide expert recommendations for educational strategies
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and regulatory requirements
- Guide and support classroom staff and families with practical communication strategies
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging environment that empowers every learner
