School Speech Language Pathologist - Vallejo, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology
• Experience or interest in working with school-aged children
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and dynamic school environments

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
• Work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to support student success
• Maintain all necessary documentation, progress notes, and compliance reports
• Participate actively in IEP meetings, goal setting, and multidisciplinary collaboration
• Provide direct and consultative services, both in individual and group formats
• Educate staff and parents on strategies to support carryover of communication skills
