Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- State licensure (or eligibility) for speech-language pathology
- Experience or interest in working with school-aged children
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and dynamic school environments
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Work closely with families, educators, and other professionals to support student success
- Maintain all necessary documentation, progress notes, and compliance reports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, goal setting, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Provide direct and consultative services, both in individual and group formats
- Educate staff and parents on strategies to support carryover of communication skills
