School Speech Language Pathologist - Vallejo, CA

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
• Valid SLP-CCC credential (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• California state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students, is highly valued
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with teachers, families, and students
• Comfortable working full-time hours (35 hours per week) on-site
• Strong organizational skills and a flexible attitude

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to elementary students at a single campus
• Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication disorders
• Collaborate with general education teachers, special education staff, and other service providers
• Maintain accurate records, data collection, and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights for each student’s development
• Offer guidance and resources to classroom teachers and families to support student success
