Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California SLP license or eligibility
- SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to varying needs across a diverse student caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in compliance with IEPs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of progress and services provided
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
- Provide guidance, resources, and education to teachers and parents regarding communication challenges
