As an SLP with CCC credentials, you'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement tailored therapy plans designed to help each student thrive. Utilizing your expertise, you’ll assess speech, language, and communication disorders, delivering services that foster student growth and confidence.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active SLP license for California
  • Previous experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong knowledge of IEP development and progress tracking
  • Skilled in both assessment and direct service delivery
  • Clear communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech, language, and communication therapy to students in individual and group settings
  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations using formal and informal assessment tools
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate supports into classroom activities
  • Maintain comprehensive, accurate records of services and student progress
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide input on student progress and strategies
