Preferred qualifications and experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Experience in pediatric and/or schools-based SLP settings
  • Current state licensure or the ability to obtain one before start date
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
  • Ability to design and implement therapy plans tailored for diverse student needs

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess communication disorders
  • Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in cooperation with interdisciplinary teams
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions individually or in small groups
  • Maintain accurate, timely records and progress notes
  • Engage with families and school personnel regarding student progress and strategies
  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and ongoing professional learning
