Speech Language Pathologist in Valparaiso, IN

This full-time, contract opportunity begins August 10, 2026 and continues through May 28, 2027, with 35 hours scheduled each week. Your expertise will empower students by delivering tailored assessments, interventions, and therapy sessions across various grade levels. Collaboration is encouraged—share strategies with teachers and engage with families to support student success within a nurturing school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active state licensure as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain prior to start date
• Previous experience working with school-aged children (K-12) preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• A commitment to helping students reach their fullest potential

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and evaluations for students
• Provide direct therapy, both individually and in small groups, as outlined in IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive learning outcomes
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress in compliance with district and federal guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expert insights to support student needs
• Offer guidance and training to school staff on communication strategies and challenges
