A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Valparaiso, IN. This contract position within a school setting provides the chance to work directly with students to support their speech and language development throughout the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional expertise.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while delivering high-quality services.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education and therapy services.
