Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Valparaiso, IN

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active SLP license in Indiana (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
• Previous experience working in a school setting is an advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Capacity to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred for evaluation
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
• Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting goals and approaches as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Educate and collaborate with classroom teachers and parents to support student success
