A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026/2027 school year in Valparaiso, IN. This contract position within a school setting provides the chance to work directly with students to support their speech and language development throughout the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide professional expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and staff.
  • Ability to manage caseloads efficiently while delivering high-quality services.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education and therapy services.
