School Speech Language Pathologist - Valparaiso, IN

This position is open to both experienced SLPs holding their CCC as well as Clinical Fellows (CFYs) eager to begin their career in a supportive educational environment. Qualifications & Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Indiana state SLP licensure (or eligibility to obtain before the start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs in a school setting
• Prior experience in schools is a plus, but not required for CFY candidates

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on students’ needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to foster student progress
• Document student progress and maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with school and state standards
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input and recommendations
• Provide both direct and consultative services within the educational environment
