Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active SLP licensure in Arkansas (or ability to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates considered
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly desired
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities
  • Commitment to culturally responsive, student-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide individualized speech and language therapy to students
  • Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and family consultations
  • Offer guidance and resources to teachers and parents to support communication development
  • Stay current on best practices, policies, and educational technology relevant to speech therapy
  • Support the social and academic growth of every student you serve
