Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Van Buren, AR

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CF)
• Active state license or ability to obtain one prior to start
• Previous experience providing speech services in an educational setting strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and recordkeeping skills
• Commitment to collaborative teamwork and individualized student support

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy in small groups or one-on-one settings
• Maintain compliance with IEP documentation and progress reports
• Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals
• Provide training and resources to staff and families to support carry-over of strategies
• Adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse abilities, cultures, and learning styles
