Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Van Nuys, CA

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligible to obtain
• Current or eligible Georgia state licensure
• Previous experience as an SLP in a school setting is preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes is a plus
• Experience with AAC devices
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPAs

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess students’ speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop customized treatment plans based on student needs and educational goals
• Deliver evidence-based therapy across speech, language, cognition, and swallowing domains
• Track progress and adapt interventions for optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, families, and other healthcare specialists to ensure holistic support
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to documentation as required
