Step into a dynamic school-based setting as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students from transitional kindergarten through 6th grade across two engaging school sites. This contract opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 11, 2026, with continued service over the summer session (June 17, 2026 – July 17, 2026) and carries into the 2026/2027 academic year, starting August 5 and continuing through the school year’s end.

Your skills will be pivotal in helping students overcome communication barriers and making a lasting impact on their educational journey. Work closely with young learners experiencing a range of needs, from mild articulation challenges to moderate disabilities with language deficits, and provide interventions for students utilizing AAC devices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure with CCC required
  • Prior experience as a pediatric SLP, particularly in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with supporting students from TK through 6th grade
  • Expertise in assessment and intervention for mild articulation, language disorders, and AAC implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging speech-language therapy to students with diverse needs
  • Assess, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
  • Support and guide teachers and families regarding best communication strategies
  • Maintain detailed, accurate records aligned with school and legal requirements
  • Rotate across two school sites to effectively manage caseload
