As part of the special education team, you’ll collaborate with SLPs to help students reach their communication goals for the 2026/2027 school year, starting August 11, 2026. What you’ll bring:
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in California
- Experience supporting or providing therapy in a school setting preferred
- Background working with school-aged children, ideally with diverse needs
- Knowledge of speech/language disorders and experience implementing therapy plans
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with SLPs, special education staff, teachers, and families
- Strong documentation and reporting abilities
What you’ll do:
- Provide direct speech and language intervention services to students under the supervision of certified SLPs
- Assist in developing and implementing IEP goals and data collection
- Carry out therapy activities as outlined by supervising SLPs
- Monitor progress and document student outcomes
- Maintain clear communication with staff and families
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to service planning
- Support inclusive learning environments to foster student growth
