This full-time contract role spans the current, summer, and next school year cycles, providing flexibility for committed professionals who are passionate about helping diverse learners thrive in their communication skills.
As a speech-language pathologist, you will serve two engaging school communities, splitting your week between both locations—two days at one site and three at the other. School day schedules are 7:45am–3:15pm and 8:15am–3:45pm, offering consistency and clear structure.
The students you’ll support present with varied needs, including mild articulation challenges, mild-to-moderate language deficits, and some requiring augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support. Collaboration with dedicated teaching staff and families will shape each student’s success.
Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Current SLP certification and state licensure required
- Experience with elementary-aged students, including PreK, is highly valued
- Familiarity supporting students with mild–moderate disabilities and AAC needs
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy to students TK–6th grade
- Conduct assessments and develop targeted IEP goals
- Implement evidence-based, individualized interventions spanning articulation, language, and AAC supports
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, timely records
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and parents/guardians
