This exciting contract opportunity offers experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) the chance to make a tangible impact throughout the 2026-27 school year. With a balanced weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, you’ll manage a caseload of 50-55 students, supporting speech and language development in both individual and group sessions.
You will be working in vibrant communities near Vanceboro, New Bern, and Havelock, as well as neighboring areas like James City, Newport, Merrimon, Emerald Isle, and Cedar Island. You’ll find opportunities to practice both on-site and through teletherapy, leveraging your expertise to make a lasting difference.
What You'll Bring:
- Current or pending ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Experience in school-based and pediatric speech-language therapy
- Familiarity with healthcare-related SLP practices and teletherapy platforms
- Commitment to collaborative team approaches and the IEP process
- Organizational skills to effectively manage a diverse caseload across multiple age groups
- Passion for helping young learners achieve communication milestones
Key Responsibilities:
