Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- State licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong CFY applicants considered
- Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients is highly valued
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students exhibiting a range of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and participate actively in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other support staff to implement therapy strategies and monitor student progress
- Provide both direct and consultative services, adapting interventions to meet students’ unique needs
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation and contribute to the educational community through ongoing training and support
