Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ventura, California

This full-time contract position is available through the end of the school year, offering the possibility for extension based on student needs and service demand. You’ll play a key role in delivering compensatory speech services, ensuring all students have the resources they need to thrive in an educational environment.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid SLP license or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred but not required
• Experience working in Schools or Healthcare settings with pediatric populations
• Background in teletherapy or in-person SLP services for children
• SLPA candidates with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, documentation, and collaboration
• Ability to manage caseloads and provide effective compensatory service delivery

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Deliver direct therapy, both individually and in groups, in-person or via teletherapy as required
• Implement compensatory services for students with backlogged therapy needs
• Coordinate and communicate progress with staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain thorough session notes, IEP documentation, and service logs
• Support ongoing case management and student progress monitoring
